An Honours degree offers you the opportunity to continue your undergraduate degree studies at a higher level and specialise in your area of interest. Completing an Honours degree is also a pathway to further research-based postgraduate studies.
There are two kinds of Honours degrees:
- One-year, end-on Honours degrees, which you apply for after you have completed your bachelor's (AQF Level 7) degree
- Embedded Honours degrees, where the Honours component is completed as part of your degree
Entry requirements
Each Honours program has its own entry requirements. Visit your chosen program's webpage for more information.
If English is not your first language, you need to meet the minimum English language requirements for your chosen program.
