In your second professional experience placement (PEP) you will provide person centred care underpinned by quality and safety standards within the health care team. In a three-week (120 hour) PEP you will draw on previous learning to develop your practice and focus on a person’s change in health status. In a range of healthcare including acute care, primary and community care, and aged care settings, you will plan, select and implement evidence based therapeutic interventions, underpinned by quality and safety standards. You will critically self-appraise your practice and your facilitator will evaluate your performance using the NMBA Registered nurse standards for practice at a level consistent with a developing nursing student.
