In your first professional experience placement (PEP) you will apply the professional principles, and foundation knowledge and skills that you have been learning. In an 80 hour PEP you will have the opportunity to provide person centred care for people in aged care and community residential care settings underpinned by quality and safety standards. You will be supported and supervised by experienced practitioners and engage with a range of health professionals. You will critically self-appraise your practice and your facilitator will evaluate your performance using the NMBA Registered nurse standards for practice at an introductory level.
