Sunshine Coast Mental Health and Addiction Services (Acute Care)

The Sunshine Coast Mental Health and Addiction Services provide hospital-based inpatient and community mental health services.

Acute Care Mental Health Access, Maroochydore – 1300 MH CALL or 1300 64 22 55 (24 hours a day/7 days a week)

Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Maroochydore – 5409 9111 (24 hours a day/7 days a week)

Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Acute Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Birtinya - 5202 3277 (24 hours a day/7 days a week)

UniSC Psychology Clinic - 5456 4514

The UniSC Psychology Clinic provides mental health services to the community and also functions as an advanced teaching, training and research facility for 5th year postgraduate students (Provisional Psychologists). The Clinic sees clients from age 6 years and upwards for psychological treatment or cognitive assessment. USC is able to offer this service free of charge.
