Focus Professional Group Bursary

Applications for Semester 1 2023 scholarships are now closed.

Applicants will be advised the outcome of their application by close of business on Tuesday 28 February 2023.

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) students in second or third year.

Established in 2005 and awarded annually to a student who has achieved a high academic standard.

The recipient will be an enthusiastic person with a range of interests and/or involvement in community organisations, sporting clubs or university clubs. The bursary payment will be made approximately three weeks after Census Date, once enrolment has been confirmed.

Please Note:  This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.

Eligibility
  • full-time students studying Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)
  • enrolled in second or third year of their undergraduate program
  • Permanent Resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
Selection criteria
  • academic merit
  • demonstrated community involvement (eg through sport, university clubs, community groups etc.)
