Alliance Automation is a leading Australian industrial automation and electrical engineering company. Alliance Automation offers customers a portfolio of engineering services in automation, business intelligence, technical consultancy, electrical engineering and support in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Water and Wastewater, Manufacturing, Defence, and Infrastructure market sectors.
Alliance Automation seeks to support tertiary education for Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic), Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) or Bachelor of Computer Science students who demonstrate academic potential but face financial or other barriers to completing a degree. The scholarship will offset some living and study related costs, giving students the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, removing some of the barriers that may hinder academic achievement. Preference for the scholarship may also go towards supporting an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student.
All eligible UniSC students are strongly encouraged to apply. Alliance Automation may also choose to offer recipients or other applicants paid vacation work or other work placement opportunities. Depending on the quality of applications, Alliance Automation may also choose to award more than one scholarship in a year.
This scholarship will be paid in instalments of $2,500 per semester after confirmation of enrolment at Census Date, for up to 4 semesters.
Short-listed students will be requested to provide a current resume and cover letter prior to being invited to a selection interview.
Please Note: This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.
