UniSC 1996 Society Study Support Bursaries

Scholarship applications for Semester 2 2023 are now closed.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by close of business, 31 August 2023.

Study support bursaries for continuing undergraduate students who have completed at least one semester in any undergraduate program at UniSC.

The UniSC 1996 Society is the vehicle in which supporters of UniSC, members of the community, alumni, and staff, can contribute to the University’s general endowment, the UniSC Visionaries Fund. The UniSC 1996 Society Study Support Bursaries are made possible by the generous support of the members and visionaries who contribute to the endowment.

UniSC 1996 Society Study Support Bursaries are paid to students from low socio-economic backgrounds, with a preference for students who must work to support their studies. It is intended that recipients will be able to commit more time to their studies and engaging in university life, with less time in paid employment. Students working long hours during the semester period are encouraged to apply.

The bursary will be valued at $2,000 and paid in 8 fortnightly instalments over semester 2.

Please Note:  This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
