Red Bike Adventures Scholarship

Scholarship applications for Semester 2 2023 are now closed.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by close of business, 31 August 2023.

The Red Bike Adventures Scholarship will support continuing full-time students enrolled at UniSC Fraser Coast in a Bachelor of Social Work.

Red Bike Adventures is a community not-for-profit based on the Fraser Coast. Their purpose is to raise necessary funds and resources to support mental health awareness campaigns and mental health initiatives, programs and education. Red Bike Adventures strive to connect the disconnected with counselling, education and support programs, and by funding a scholarship for UniSC Social Work students they aim to help increase the skilled workforce on the Fraser Coast.

The Scholarship recipient will receive the scholarship funds as two lump sums of $2,500 after the census date in semester 2 and semester 1 of the relevant years.

 

Please note: This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.

Eligibility
  • continuing student having successfully completed a minimum of 48 units with a minimum of 2 full-time semesters remaining
  • enrolled full-time at the UniSC Fraser Coast campus in a Bachelor of Social Work
  • minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.0
  • permanent resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
