To meet the Science for Education programs (Primary or Early Childhood) pre-requisite (Units 3 & 4 C grades) for entry to a USC program, one of the following will satisfy the requirements:
- Australian secondary study
- Overseas secondary study (including International Baccalaurete)
- Australian bridging and preparatory studies
- Tertiary studies
- Other study

A passing grade in at least one tertiary level subject in any of the following fields may be considered: Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Geology, Marine Science or Physics.
