Collection of information
The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) collects and uses personal information about its students, staff and others in order to operate effectively, in compliance with Queensland's Information Privacy Act (2009).
Use and disclosure
Personal Information held by USC is collected and managed in a responsible, secure manner, and will not be released to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

Data quality and security
The University will take reasonable steps to ensure that information about you is accurate, complete and up to date. If the University is to ensure the quality and accuracy of personal information, this places an obligation upon an individual to provide relevant and accurate information to the University.
USC is committed to protecting the privacy of this personal information, and ensuring that it is properly secured and managed in accordance with the requirements of Queensland's Information Privacy Act.
Access and correction
An individual has the right under the Information Privacy Act to have access to and amendment of their personal information held by the University.
