Technology is a field of ever expanding opportunity. Course lecturer, Dr Erica Mealy discusses the exciting pathways for work and study.
Luke chose to study a Bachelor of Computer Science at UniSC Moreton Bay. The thing he loves most about computer science at UniSC is that it's built around what the industry wants. Luke now has the opportunity to call himself a 'Googler' while completing an internship with Google, working on Google Chrome, over summer.
So what separates one graduate from another? If you ask UniSC computer science student Jeshin Chetty-Sardar, it's experience. Which is why Jeshin's university lecturer arranged an internship with DELL, one of the world's largest computer manufacturers. Jeshin was able to connect with DELL employees and apply what he learnt at UniSC. "The internship with DELL can provide a real foot in the door to their graduate program," Jeshin said. "My prior experience with them proved to be a beneficial trait."
