*Not offered until Semester 1 2024* This competency-based course will help you to demonstrate core clinical skills for prosthetists and orthotists including conducting an appointment, interviewing techniques, communication skills, problem solving and client interaction skills. Prosthetic and orthotic theory will involve assessment, management and device fitting principles for common acute and subacute musculoskeletal conditions. This course builds your development of profession-specific activities that accompany an episode of care (e.g., documentation, clinical handover, legislative/funding/policy requirements).
