This course is built upon an understanding of the base body of knowledge, theory and methodology that underpins modern event management. The course uses case studies to provide a contemporary context for examining best practice in event management. This course provides a succinct overview of event management activities with a particular accent on tourism and corporate events such as conferences, trade exhibitions and product launches. Candidates taking this course should be able to blend creative instincts with a project management commercial outcome orientation.
