Taking a regenerative approach to tourism

It is well understood that sustainability focuses on maximising positive outcomes while reducing negative impacts. Regenerative businesses strive to restore and generate positive gains based on an inclusive lens to create value for businesses, communities, the environment, and visitors. Regenerative businesses focus on the intentional (re)design of transformative experiences that inspire visitors through immersive, experiential experiences to increase productivity and improve wellbeing. Join us in the UniSC visualisation space for an interactive workshop exploring the opportunities of adopting regenerative experience design.

Topics incorporate theory into practical activities to increase understanding of:

  • Regenerative principles and practices
  • Mindset shift: Inclusive experiences for stakeholder empowerment
  • Transdisciplinary, design thinking approaches
  • Creating competitive advantage with regenerative business approaches
