Associate Professor Stuart Marshall is a Specialist Anaesthetist, Lead of Clinical Human Factors at the Australian Centre for Health Innovation (CHI) at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Clinical Associate Professor of Medical Education at The University of Melbourne.

Stuart has both a Masters degree and PhD in Human Factors and currently holds an Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) ECR Fellowship at Monash University, examining the use of cognitive aids (checklists and flowcharts) on team functioning. He has recently co-authored a short course on Human Factors for health professionals and managers.
