My Study Abroad experience at USC

Grab the opportunity while you are young and healthy! Australia is absolutely amazing and a great experience that I strongly recommend.

The University of the Sunshine Coast uses a fantastic teaching model. The study methods gave me a lot of flexibility to facilitate the studies to my own needs and desires, and was easy to combine with excursions.

Student life was amazing! Many live within a 10 minute walk from campus, in two student accommodations called UniCentral and Varsity. These areas house about 800 students, whom live in 2-4 person apartments. It was always lively and the volleyball court, pools and basketball courts were frequently used!

In my spare time I did a lot of reading and assignments, but it would be a lie to say that you won’t spend quite a few hours at the beach, in a sunbed by the pool or at the volleyball court. On the Sunshine Coast you can enjoy barbeques on the beach, selfies with kangaroos on campus. More importantly, the Sunshine Coast has become a gathering point for people from all over, and I met a lot of great people whom I had a tremendous time with.
