Information and support for individuals experiencing depression (including during and after pregnancy) and bipolar disorder.
e-couch
A free self-help interactive program offering information about emotional problems – what causes them, how to prevent them and how to treat them. It provides a set of evidence-based online interventions designed to equip the user with strategies to improve their mood and emotional state. Modules include depression, social anxiety, generalised anxiety and worry, relationship breakdown and grief and loss.

Sane Australia
Conducts innovative programs and campaigns to improve the lives of people living with mental illness, their family and friends. Provides information about mental illness, treatments and support. It is not a counselling service.
Eating Disorders Association Inc (QLD)
Support and referral for people with eating disorders and their families.
The Butterfly Foundation

Headspace
Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Provides young people aged between 12 and 25 years with information, support and advice on general health, mental health and wellbeing, alcohol and other drugs, sexual health, education and employment. Information is also available for parents and carers on the website.

Information, advice and support for young people across a range of issues including mental health, alcohol and other drugs, family and other relationships, sex and pregnancy, sexuality and coming out.
The Suicide Call Back Service provides crisis counselling to people at risk of suicide, carers for someone who is suicidal and those bereaved by suicide, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week across Australia.

Diverse Voices is a Queensland based non-profit organisation with a focus on the wellbeing of the diverse voices that make up our community. Our focus is on the operation of a peer-to-peer telephone and internet counselling service.

On campus there is the USC Ally Network. Allies are a point of contact for students on LGBTIQ issues, and students can discuss these areas confidently.
