The Emerge program is designed to develop the breadth of high school students’ career aspirations. The program includes a scaffolded suite of lessons based on the themes of self-development and career identification. Through a series of activities, students are encouraged to develop a growth mindset, identify their values, create a vision for the future and research a career of interest.

Emerge has a distinct theme for each year group. Each year builds on the previous one as students develop increasing awareness of their own skills and the pathways available to them. Every Emerge lesson has been linked to the Australian Curriculum.

Emerge complements the progression of the primary years Explore suite and is designed to value-add, not replace, the Australian Curriculum learning sequence.
