The prize
It was a real-life UniSC student experience for our five winners, here's what we got up to...
Phins up!
Got amazing VIP vibes with a behind-the-scenes tour at Suncorp Stadium, then enjoyed the excitement of the Dolphins vs Rabbitohs NRL match (from a private corporate box!).
Crocs rule!
Visited the world-famous Australia Zoo (where crocs did rule!) and encountered a rare breed: UniSC’s own superhero koala-saving researchers.
Minds bent!
Experienced the mind-bending, vivid world of virtual reality with HavenXR’s brainiacs at UniSC’s Sunshine Coast campus.
Surf's up in Noosa
Life sure was swell! With a surfing lesson in Noosa - hanging loose and riding the waves alongside a UniSC coastal erosion expert.
Paradise on K'gari
Discovered stunning K’gari, the world’s largest sand island. Our outdoor education experts were on hand to uncover some of the island’s unique natural wonders.
Sport on the court
Toured the uni's high-performance sports precinct before taking our seats at UniSC Arena as the Lightning took on the Swifts.
A memorable experience
Four days chock full of adventure in one of the most gasp-out-loud gorgeous landscapes in the world.
A taste of life at UniSC, with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to many exhilarating experiences, with UniSC experts on hand at every turn to expand your educational horizons (phew – that's a lot of Es).
We’re pretty darn proud of our environmental focus, especially because our campus footprint sits across three UNESCO Biosphere reserves and the world heritage-listed K’gari (Fraser Island). What’s this mean? Well, it’s a fancy way of saying we live, work and play on some of the most beautiful, ecologically important and Insta-worthy natural settings on the planet. This is a one-of-a-kind experience to our beautiful home.
It's a real-life UniSC student experience
At UniSC students get to complete work integrated learning (WIL) as a part of almost every degree we offer - and we are so lucky to have campuses located within three beautiful UNESCO biospheres. In 2023, more than 2,500 of our students will attend field trips on the world heritage K’gari, the world’s largest sand island. At UniSC we also have some amazing partnerships such as the Dolphins NRL Team and the Sunshine Coast Lightning Suncorp Super Netball League Team where there are opportunities for students to complete placements.
