The Caloundra Drawing Collective explores the living line of the body, to encounter and to push themselves to the limits of mark making.
They concentrate on short poses, often asking the model to keep moving throughout a five-minute period so that the fleeting, the momentary is observed—the end product is a line that has grabbed something of the substance of life.
The work has a fresh and unfinished rawness that brings it to life.
