Held in conjunction with Dark Rituals, Magical Relics, join Dr Tom Aechtner for a discussion about ritual in modern life: how ritual is a practice that seems as important in today’s ever-changing world as it was in the past.

Dr Tom Aechtner is a Senior Lecturer in Religion and Science in the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry at the University of Queensland. Dr Aechtner’s work lies in contemporary science-and-religion discourse and he also has research interests associated with religion in the African diaspora, Pentecostalism, and Global Christianity.
