Join author, Emily Larkin, for an exploration into techniques for creating your own blackout poetry. This 3-hour workshop will be fun, liberating and may just be the thing to cure your writer’s block or inspire a new way of creating work.

Emily Larkin is an Australian author who has published fiction in international literary journals including Meniscus, Number Eleven Magazine, The Zodiac Review, Seizure, and Literary Orphans. Her picture book, The Whirlpool, was published by Wombat Books in 2017, and features artwork by award-winning illustrator Helene Magisson. Emily received a Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Arts (Honours), graduating with Class 1, Division 1, and is now undertaking a doctorate in creative writing.
