Almost 250 Year 9 and 10 students will get to experience life as a university student for a day at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Fraser Coast campus on Tuesday 7 June.
Experience USC involves a range of interactive university activities – from lectures and campus tours to learning an accounting rap song and treating life-sized manikins in a simulated hospital ward.
The day is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore the study and career options available in the region and inspire them to consider continuing to higher education.
Students from St Mary’s College, Xavier Catholic College, Hervey Bay State High School, Urangan State High School, Aldridge State High School and Maryborough State High School will take part.
They will participate in program workshops in Nursing, Accounting, Marketing, Human Services, Education and Sports Science.
