From the drama of the courtroom to the action in the stadium and the pool, there will be plenty to attract students to the second day of orientation activities at the University of the Sunshine Coast tomorrow, Wednesday 24 February.
‘Orientation to USC’ started on campus at Sippy Downs today and continues to Thursday 25 February. More than 4,500 new students will join continuing students enrolled in Semester 1 from next Monday 29 February.
Students will kick off the Futsal world cup tomorrow from 2.30pm at the USC Sports Stadium, before a Dive-in Pool Party offers a fun chill-out zone from 4.30pm to 8.30pm with a DJ and movie screening at the USC Pool.
At 11.45am tomorrow, the Law Students’ Association will run a mini moot in Building J to demonstrate courtroom procedures in USC’s facilities.
The Quidditch League is sure to attract more crowds to its high-energy teamwork outside Building D at 12.15pm tomorrow and at 5.30pm on Thursday.
Thursday 25 February is Student Guild Day, with a clubs and societies fair at the Uni Club starting with a 9am breakfast and continuing with live music from 2.30pm.
