A University of the Sunshine Coast property expert will be among industry leaders sharing insights at the State of the Market public seminar on Tuesday 30 August at Maroochydore.
Dr Steven Boyd, who coordinates USC’s Property Economics and Development degree, will introduce and host the Australian Property Institute’s annual seminar from 3.30pm at the Maroochy RSL.
“I will be outlining the results of four years of audience surveys that were conducted during these interactive seminars,” he said.
Dr Boyd, who chairs the Sunshine Coast’s API Discussion Group, said results indicated that residential housing was in mid-upturn and units, retail and industrial property were on the cusp of upturn.
Speakers will include representatives of LMW, Colliers International, Herron Todd White and Ray White Commercial North Coast Central.
“They will discuss turnover trends, where future opportunities are, current conditions, investment performance and what it all means for the Sunshine Coast,” he said.
