Adjunct Professor
Professor Iain White is a Hallsworth Visiting Professor at the University of Manchester, and is currently appointed as Professor of Environmental Planning at University of Waikato. Previously, Iain spent four years as the Director of the Centre for Urban and Regional Ecology and Senior Lecturer in Planning at University of Manchester.
Iain completed his PhD studies with the thesis, ‘Barriers to Environmental Planning: The Case of Sustainable Drainage’ with the University of Manchester. Iain currently pursues his research interests as a human geographer and planner, with a focus across the science-policy-practice interface.
