USC Moreton Bay has a variety of rooms for events including business meetings, workshops, presentations, conferences, exhibitions, seminars or celebration events. The campus allows for the flexible set-up of rooms, with small or large spaces that cater for 10 to 480 guests. Event spaces include collaborative rooms which have a designated presentation space and are video conference capable. The large screens in the technology spaces allow a clear view of the content and collaboration. Each screen can display a presentation from any of the desktop screens within that table group.

Catering

At USC Moreton Bay, we strive to exceed your expectations – from your initial enquiry to the post-event follow-up. Through our attention to detail and flexibility we will create a package to suit your needs, including morning and afternoon teas, working lunches, buffet or plated lunches and dinners, cocktail receptions, conference packages and beverage packages. You can select from our half or full-day delegate packages, or we can help you customise tailored, themed and bespoke packages to suit your needs and budget. We cater for all dietary requirements and allergies on request.

All event catering requests require an Application for Catering Form to be completed. Final numbers are required for all catering application minimum seven days prior to the event. Large events may require a longer confirmation period.

UniSC Gympie is nestled among beautiful natural surrounds, only two hours from Brisbane and 30 minutes from Noosa. Gympie is home to an abundance of state and national parks and is part of the Great Sandy Biosphere.

Facilities and venues for hire

The campus is located in the Gympie Education hub and offers a variety of spaces suitable for events including; meetings, workshops, presentations, seminars and small performances. All spaces are accessible for people with a disability with IR audio systems available.

• Lecture Theatre has fixed seating for 75 guests. The flat floor space can seat a small number of additional guests (e.g for a panel setup). The lecture theatre is zoom-capable and equipped with a laser projector, handheld and lapel microphones, Creston touch panel digital and audio system and lighting pre-sets.
• Tutorial rooms offer flexible set-up of rooms with small or large spaces that cater for 18 to 60 guests. Each space includes a designated presentation space and access to a wall talker. The campus currently has one tutorial space set up for video conferencing which can accommodate up to 24 guests.
• Outdoor BBQ area positioned to the left hand side of the main building for easy access to the building’s amenities. Surrounded by beautiful bush landscapes, the open area is shaded by large shade sails equipped with an electric BBQ, 2 permanent outdoor tables and ample of space for all occasions. Further tables and chairs can be organised through the Campus Operational team.

Catering

The Gympie campus is not equipped with the ability to cater for events and meetings. External catering can be organised by the individual hirer at their own expense. The campus has an urn, water jugs and glassware available to use. Access to a refrigerator is also available for your catering.
