Honorary Senior Fellow (October 2013)
Susie Chapman was named an Honorary Senior Fellow in October 2013 in recognition of her dedication to the sustainability of the Sunshine Coast region.
Susie Chapman is a passionate advocate of sustainability and is recognised locally and nationally as an important innovator. Susie has been actively involved with the University furthering its engagement with the community and contributing to its research aims. Since 2003 she has been the Community Partnership Manager (North) with SEQ Catchments and since the 1990s has been working and volunteering in the community coordinating, and as member of various groups including: the Sunshine Coast Environment Council; the GREENhouse program at the Woodford Folk Festival; Maroochy Waterwatch; and the Maroochy Mooloolah Catchment Co-ordinating Association. Susie is a source of inspiration to all those who would like to make a difference to the Australian landscape and, in particular, the Sunshine Coast.
