Distinguished Companion (February 2021)
Noela Burton was named Distinguished Companion in February 2021 in recognition of her service to USC including many years of professional support to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President, advocacy of USC and fostering and maintaining important relationships with external members of the University community.
Noela commenced employment at USC on 9 February 1998 and remained a committed and active member of the University community for more than 22 years. Noela’s roles at USC included Administration Officer in Human Relations (1998-1999); Secretary and Executive Assistant to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (2000-2005); Executive Assistant and Executive Officer to the ViceChancellor and President (2006-2012); Manager of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President (2013-2015); and once again Executive Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor and President (2016-2020).
