University of Sunshine Coast is proud to recognise the contribution Kerry Martin has made during her time at UniSC to realising UniSC’s growth and expansion ambitions. Kerry has enhanced the reputation, organisation, and operation of UniSC. The University is honoured to award Kerry the title of Distinguished Companion of the University.
Kerry is the exemplar of sustained and distinguished service to the University of a professional staff member. From the inception of a University for the Sunshine Coast, Kerry has made an outstanding commitment to the life of the University by being instrumental in the leadership, development and maturation from University College to the University today. Her leadership has substantially enhanced the reputation, organisation and operation of UniSC.
Kerry was the first manager of Student Administration and has held many leadership positions over the years. She was elected as staff representative to the University Council in the early 2000s. As a senior Professional staff member, Kerry will be best remembered for her Directorship of the SIAU, the Strategic Information and Analysis Unit, where she developed the reporting and analysis function of the university, providing data analysis to inform university decision making for more than two decades. Kerry displayed an outstanding application of her exceptional skills, judgement and tenacity.
