Raffaella’s professional background is in accounting, working in different roles in several companies overseas and in Australia. Raffaella joined USC in 2014 as a sessional staff teaching Economics and Business Analytics.
In July 2017 Raffaella gained the position of Associate Lecturer in Economics, coordinating Economics courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Raffaella is passionate about education and student engagement, in particular first year and international students. Raffaella recently won an internal grant to implement a PASS scheme in the first-year Economic course.
Many years spent in gaining commercial experiences before embracing an academic career allows her to contextualise economic topics to real life. Raffaella has been honoured to have been invited as guest lecturer in Economics at the Zhejiang Financial College in China for the past 3 years. Raffaella is looking forward to embarking on her PHD journey which focuses on the labour market.
