Adjunct Prof Michele Clark holds a PhD in Public Health and Public Policy.
She has worked in clinical, teaching and research positions. Michele holds an Adjunct Professorial position with the School of Clinical Sciences at QUT. She was the inaugural Director of the Australian Centre for Pre-hospital Research, and at JCU, was the Foundation Chair of Rehabilitation Sciences. She is a former Director of Research in the School of Public Health at QUT and served in senior executive roles as a Head of School and in Postgraduate Studies.
Dr Clark has considerable international experience including working for the United Nations in New York, and is also the former Chair of QUT’s Human Research Ethics Committee. Michele is a skilled researcher and uses both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Her role in the Road Safety Research Collaboration includes mentorship with a focus on capability and capacity building for early career researchers.
