Peta Germanotta is a part-time Associate Lecturer in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy. She maintains her clinical experience working primarily with children, adolescents and young adults in the community.
Peta has worked as an occupational therapist throughout Queensland. Her clinical experience has included working to achieve individuals’ goals throughout the lifespan through various therapeutic approaches, environmental settings and funding schemes. Peta’s experience has given her the opportunity to develop skills in a versatile caseload with a variety of conditions and abilities. She has developed a passion for education and learning, working to pass her learned experiences onto future clinicians.
Peta is passionate about paediatric development and enabling disability and dysfunction. She has a special interest in sensory-motor function and supporting occupational performance. She is highly motivated to provide high quality student learning and teaching experiences throughout the occupational therapy course.
