As Research Assistant for the Thompson Institute's youth mental health research program, Marcella is responsible for supporting a range of research activities including participant recruitment and assessments, data gathering and analysis, assisting with the preparation of journal articles, and liaising with other members of staff and external organisations.
Marcella holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and has more than four years' experience working on a range of research projects in the university sector. Prior to joining the Thompson Institute, she worked on research projects in dementia, early childhood development, and ophthalmology. Marcella has extensive experience working directly with young people, children, and the elderly.
