Lia is currently completing her PhD at the Thompson Institute (UniSC) on the Longitudinal Adolescent Brain Study, and is due to complete her studies in February 2024. Her PhD investigates the neurological correlates of cyberbullying involvement in adolescence, using EEG and self-report measures. Prior to her PhD, Lia completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with UniSC in 2020.
Lia joined the Centre for Human Factors and Sociotechnical Systems in December 2022 as a Research Assistant on the LAUNCH self-harm project. Previously, Lia has been involved at UniSC in content development for suicide prevention courses, as well as data collection in youth mental health (LABS).
