Kyle Zeilinga is a research assistant for the Thompson Institute’s myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic
fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) project.
The project aims to understand the illness processes underlying ME/CFS and develop brain imaging criteria to aid ME/CFS diagnosis. Kyle supports research activities such as participant recruitment and assessment, data gathering and analysis, and liaising with other staff members and external organisations.
Kyle graduated from Griffith University Gold Coast with a Bachelor of Psychology (Class I Honours) in
2022.
He is passionate about contributing to our understanding of neuropsychological conditions and applying these findings to assist clinical populations.
Prior to joining the Thompson Institute, Kyle worked extensively with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder.
