Tracey Sanderson

Tracey has been a primary school teacher in regional, remote, and rural schools for over 30 years. Her teaching experience includes all phases of primary education, including early childhood and a range of secondary classes. Tracey is a passionate advocate for quality rural education supporting diverse communities and for equipping preservice teachers to provide this. This interest has evolved into seeking career in teacher education and contributing to the body of research supporting rural education and communities.

Tracey's interests in research include, supporting parents to promote a passion for reading, embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in classrooms, promoting inclusive and co-operative approaches to classrooms, and promoting a positive perception of mathematics education in early career teachers.
