Sajeeb Saha

Dr Sajeeb Saha received his PhD degree in in Electrical and Electronic from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is currently a Senior Lecturer of Electrical Engineering at the School of Science and Engineering at University of the Sunshine Coast (USC).

Prior joining USC, Dr Saha served as a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Deakin University from year 2016 to 2021. He also worked as a research fellow at National ICT Australia, Victoria Research Laboratory (2012-2014) and at the School of Engineering, The University of Melbourne (2014-2016). His research interests include power system modelling, analysis and control, fault diagnosis and fault tolerant control, renewable energy sources, battery and Hydrogen fuel cell, smart grid, cyber security of power system, etc.

Dr Saha has published more than 75 research articles in high impact journals and international refereed conferences. He has been a part of externally (government and industry) funded research funds worth more than 7 million. He has supervised 2 PhD students to completion. Dr Saha served as the Chair, IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS), Victorian Chapter from 2020-2021.

He is a member of IEEE Power and Energy Society and Engineers Australia. He serves on the editorial board or committees of several journals and international conferences.
