Ros joined UniSC as a sessional academic in 2019 and took up a lecturing role in 2021.
Her clinical background is in critical care nursing focussing most recently on transplant and ventricular support in heart failure. Ros has worked as a clinical nurse specialist, and nurse manager in cardiothoracic intensive care units in Australia and the UK.
Ros's PhD research was based with the heart lung team at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney and focused on health economic aspects of advanced therapies in heart failure and the use of patient reported outcomes in value based health care.
Other research interests include M Health applications in heart failure and peripheral arterial disease, haemodynamics, exercise and frailty in heart failure and peripheral arterial disease
