Lauren Istvandity

Dr Lauren Istvandity is a leading scholar in music and heritage studies and is a passionate educator in the areas of communications, sociology, and cultural studies. Dr Istvandity works with communities and heritage institutions in a range of settings and is experienced in both practical and scholarly aspects of cultural heritage preservation, and community wellbeing. She also has a keen interest in the connection between autobiographical memory and music, which is showcased in her monograph: The Lifetime Soundtrack: Music and Autobiographical Memory (Equinox, 2019).
