Dr Katrina Andrews is an experienced scholar in the disciplines of counselling/psychotherapy, psychology, as well as adult education. Katrina has completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology with Griffith University, and has qualifications in adult education from the Higher Education and Leadership Institute (HELI).

Katrina has over a decade of experience teaching and researching in the disciplines of counselling and psychology, as well as adult education, within independent tertiary education providers specialised in delivering these content areas to adults mainly in the online modality of program delivery. 

Prior to her academic career, Katrina worked as a generalist psychologist in various settings including correctional centres, medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, and primary health networks. Katrina worked primarily with adults, helping them with a variety of psychological complaints including trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and relationship concerns. Her chosen framework was integrative and critical realist, thereby respecting the unique person that is each and every client within a constant reality.
