Dr David Fleischman first came to the University of the Sunshine Coast as an international student in 2007. David has since completed both a Master of International Business degree and a PhD. The research for his doctorate focused on marketing international education via community engagement to enhance the international student experience. He teaches in marketing within the School of Business.
Some of his recent work has been published in the 'Journal of Marketing for Higher Education', the 'e-Journal of Business Education and Scholarship of Teaching', ANZMAC conference proceedings and the 2011 Auckland Workshop and Seminar on Service Dominant Logic Marketing. Professionally, David has worked internationally within the US, in the marketing and public relations industries before relocating to the Sunshine Coast.
Outside of his professional duties, David enjoys surfing and the outdoors in general.
