Danielle Cave is a Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at UniSC. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and has experience working in residential aged care. Her doctorate research focused on exploring the long-term sustainability of food fortification strategies within the foodservice systems of aged care homes. She is interested in food and nutrition for older adults living in the community and in residential aged care and foodservice management.
Danielle was awarded the Dietitians Australia Fay McDonald Academic Scholarship in 2020, which supports further study and training in foodservice management. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is actively involved in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
