Dr Celine Jona conducts research in teaching methods in psychology training to better understand the most effective teaching methods to support psychology trainees to develop the necessary skills and knowledge required to become the most successful clinicians and researchers in the future. Celine is also interested in better understanding mental health in health practitioners and the most effective preventative health care practices.

Celine is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology in the School of Health and joined the School in 2022. Prior to joining UniSC, Celine completed a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) at Deakin University. Celine also completed a Masters in Psychology (Clinical) at UniSC. Celine is a generally registered psychologist, completing the clinical registrar program, and has worked across various public and private clinical settings.

Celine coordinates PSY701 Advanced Psychological Assessment and Reporting and supervises the Master of Psychology (Professional) students completing their practicum placements. She also coordinates PSY402 Professional Practice of Psychology. She enjoys working collaboratively with students and embedding her clinical examples into her teaching, to help bring the theory of psychology to life in an engaging manner.
